It is our goal at Desert Winds Assisted Living to provide our residents with an atmosphere that fosters independence, enhances the quality of their lives and respects their privacy and dignity. Prior to move-in, an assessment of each resident is conducted by our licensed staff in order to determine the needs of that particular resident. By choosing from our a-la-carte list of services a personalized care program is designed. Residents pay only for what they need.
At Desert Winds our care plans may range anywhere from minimal supervision to total assistance with all of the activities of daily living. Our basic amenity package includes the following: Three delicious meals per day served to each resident in our beautiful dining room. All utilities including cable television and local telephone. 24-hour staffing by LPN's and certified care givers. Daily tidying and weekly deep cleaning of your apartment. Once a week laundering of bed and bath linens. One load of personal laundry per week. General maintenance of your apartment, grounds and common areas. Scheduled transportation (if appropriate). An emergency call system. A daily program of stimulating and enriching activities.
Our studio, one-bedroom or two bedroom/two bath apartments all feature kitchenettes with a microwave, refrigerator and sink, individual thermostats, window and floor coverings and large bathrooms with step-in showers. All of the apartments at Desert Winds Assisted Living have a view of either the lush courtyard or the beautiful mountains that surround the Valley of the Sun.
Desert Winds is not a buy-in, nor are there any large up-front or common area fees. |
